Over DJ Da RickDa Rick – the DJ artist name of Flor Theeuwes has been jumpstarting audiences all over the world for 20 years! You probably know him from his performances as part of the duo Da Boy Tommy & Da Rick. Their global hits included ‘Halloween’, ‘Candyman’, ‘Attention’, ‘Rumble’ & ‘Kol Nedra’. Sadly, Da Boy Tommy died in a car crash in 2013. Da Rick’s DJ-style is Freestyle with party influences of the 90’s, Jump, Harddance and even some Rock and Hardcore. It’s all about having a good time! His appeal is universal: across genders, colors, nationalities, ages. Flor is also known as MC JERKY from Danger Hardcore Team, Club X and the Belgium Thunderdome parties. He is still active as a MC during his own DJ sets, a live act or as a party host. In 2002, Flor also started working with singer Edmee Daenen, a young talented singer from Belgium. When Edmee turned 18 in 2005, they recorded Listen to Your Heart (2 dance versions and a ballad), a cover of Roxette’s 80’s hit. They’ve hit the U.S. Billboard’s Hot 100 #8 and had Top 10 spots in the UK, France, Spain, Japan, Australia and many more.
